I’m Carla Marie Ciampa, I’m a designer. Sometimes it feels more comfortable hiring someone you know a little more ‘behind the scenes’ information about. I am an overly caffeinated, early bird, book worm who has a passion for: movies, all things chocolate and clean, simple, message delivering design.
I delicately divide my time between my three babies: “Composition”, “Color” and “Typography.” Design done well is the perfect synthesis of simplicity and message. I firmly believe that before you hire a designer it’s imperative that she can explain the difference between an en dash and an em dash. If you don’t know what I’m getting at here, it’s this: there is a distinction between people who learned how to use the software designers use and people who are trained to create commercial art that epitomizes your business message, and this is one way of making that distinction.
I live in the Rochester, New York area. As a reluctant transplant from Red Sox Nation, Boston is where I will always think of myself as home. Thanks to the internet my clients can hire and work with me from anywhere.
